GUMBO Projects is dedicated to promote the use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and other technologies that is ethical and respects people and the earth we inhabit.
We want to challenge the notion that there are no alternatives to Big Tech - because there are, and the sooner we realize this, the cheaper it will be to escape.
GUMBO Projects is the passion project of founder, Elias Levysohn (me). I don't have any formal services yet but I just want to do something, you know - help to make Open Source more accessible and common-knowledge.
I don't have a Computer Science degree or even the courage to call myself an expert on anything technological. I have, however, made Open Source, Linux, Homelabbing and simple web development my hobby for the last few years and thereby acquired broad knowledge within the field from a lot of trial and error.
